| yeh, the topic name is correct. It was set in 2010 a.t.b, (they went by the imperial calender, i have no idea what that is) and it was after the Holy Britannian empire conquered Japan, and stripped Japan and all of it's citizens of all it's rights and freedoms. They re-named Japan to area 11, and all Japanese were to be called elevens. At this time, the Britannian prince, lelouch was disowned by his father, the emperor of Britannia, after his mother was murdered. Lelouch vowed to kill his father for letting the murder happen, and to distroy Britannia. The whole geass thing refers to a power he gains through meeting a girl named C.C or C2. When his mother was murdered his sister was crippled and never opened her eyes. Lelouch sets up a resistance movement, in order to fufill his two wishes, seek revenge for the death of his mother and to create a world in which his sister Nunnally can live happily.
it's a good anime, but its very confusing, theres more to it than this....but thats just teh basic plot...if that is what you wanted to know. If not...then...nya?
I probably have some of this wrong, but i had to watch most of it twice just to get it...so sorry if it is.. | |
