| Well, I've played through Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald a while back, and couldn't help to think that Emerald was much easier to get through once I obtained Rayquaza. Rayquaza (being level 70), brings a great boost to your team for both the 8th Gym, and E4. When in Ruby/Sapphire, Groudon/Kyogre are both level 45. Thus, not bringing the same firepower you get while playing Emerald. | |

| Emerald easy mode? Um. (word censored) no. HGSS is easy mode. If you don't catch rayquaza and picked Blaziken you are in some deep (word censored). Wallace robbed my 999999999 probably 5 times. If you pick swampert yeah, it is easy mode. If you pick blaziken. Heck no. | |

| I think emmerald was a little more hard since you had to beat both team magma and aqua | |

| Well I wasn't really factoring in the frontier, I was comparing the content that the three shared in the initial idea that Rayquaza was nothing more than a crutch for completing the E4 in fast time. | |

| Of course it would be easier with RayRay. You have to go out of your way to get him though, you aren't given a battle chance through the story. | |

| I prefer havinga full team so usually legends dont fit o3o But i found harder the league, since blaziken could do it near alone in RS but in emerald with wallace... | |

| I agree 100% with Ricky. When I first played it, I played it like any nub would. Overlevel starter, HM slaves, and Sharpedo because ITS A (word censored) SHARK.
Once I played it again though, I had that (word censored) planned out from the start. Blaziken, Manectric, Gardevoir, Slaking, Breloom, and Azumarill. Elite 4 was so (word censored) hard. I only won because of a crit on that (word censored) ludicolo of Wallace's. I was so close to using Rayquaza. My Pokémon were about level 40 a piece so that is dangerously under leveled.
I was playing this with a friend, he had a similar team, but overleveled the (word censored) out of it.
So yeh, any Pokémon game is easy if you overlevel the starter. Although it was equally hard for me both times. It feels good remembering how it always came down to the last turn vs Wallace after he robbed me of all my money the previous tries. | |
