What was the best thing about it?

I liked piplup, prinplup and empoleon. (yes im very predictable)

I liked the Pal Park, and the new contests.

And ball capsules too.

I liked the mixture between a 2D/3D experience. It had somewhat of a 3D feel, but at the same time had that same Oldskool Pokémon Handheld game feel.

But nyeh, the story was good, except the part you needed to find every Pokémon from sinnohdex

It's even worse when you have the national dex

No, you dont need to complete it to get something important

DP was just so new at the time and at first I hated it Couldnt give up my emerald <3 Its just different, like black and white. Thats why I like it.

I also likes how they made streets for the first time

I first buyed Platinum, then downloaded Diamond on my acekard 2i (device for ROMs) and I think that is the reason why D/P seem so boring to me.

I liked the fact that everything was new cos my first poke game was firered and pearl was my second

I very much liked the improvement, and how well the creators transitioned from GBA to DS, giving that semi- 3D terrain and look. It was one change that I was rather supportive of throughout the years, and I also really liked all of the Legendary Pokémon. They were fun to catch and put in a little box, never to be used again.
