i got to red and lost a few times. then i beat him with an Espeon L.V. 100, Ampharous L.V. 76, Ho-oh L.V. 75, Ninetales L.V. 70, Lugia L.V. 64, and a Typhlosion L.V. 57. they all didnt do any thing to him except for Espeon and Ho-oh
